The Universal Table Browser (utbDirect) described throughout this manual is a general tool available to work with any database provided the necessary drivers are installed.

 

The Universal Table Browser (UTB) enables you, the user, to create simple ad-hoc queries using tables and columns (Files and Fields) from any database.

 

The following areas are covered in this manual:

       

•        Connecting to a Data Source

 

•        Searching and selecting tables or views to add to a query

 

•        Linking tables together

 

•        Selecting  individual columns to add to your query

 

•        Customising sort and selection criteria in your query
