Convert SQL to Crystal Reports
NOTE: A prerequisite of this download option is that Crystal Reports Software supplied by BusinessObjects MUST BE LOADED ON YOUR PC
You have used your UTB and designed a query that you now want to Convert to Crystal Reports.
Select 
Convert to Crystal Reports icon on your Toolbar or Tools / Convert to... / Crystal Reports option on the Menu bar. The following Save As screen will appear.
Decide where you want to locate your report, give it a name and accept the default type (.rpt). Select Save.
At this stage if Crystal Reports is not installed on your PC, the following ERROR message will appear.
If Crystal Reports is installed, after selecting Save the Data source, Username and Password security window appears:
The Data source that was used for your UTB start up is displayed in the window and cannot be changed.
Enter the Username and Password used to log onto the UTB:
Select OK to run the conversion or Cancel if you want to stop the process and start again later.
If there is an Error in the login details the following ERROR message is displayed:
Check the details you entered and run again... On successful completion of the conversion, the following message is displayed:
At this stage your Crystal report will be available for review and or modification in the location defined and may look similar to the following.
