ODBC Stand Alone Installation
To start the download follow the Start Download & Installation - Common section of this manual.
Once the jdeDirect ODBC Common elements of the Standalone download has completed, you are ready to begin installing the driver onto your PC.
NOTE: The ODBC Standalone drivers cannot be installed on a PC with the Production Fat Client OneWorld ODBC driver already installed. If you try the following Severe Error appears.
Select OK and start your installation in the correct environment.
After you have chosen the destination location and selected Next the following Stand Alone Table Generator screen appears.
STAND ALONE - FILE UPLOAD F98710, F98711, F98713
The OneWorld Standalone version of JDE is shipped without a full set of tables. In order for the driver to function with OneWorld the installation program generates these three tables for you.
Select YES to populate the tables in the OneWorld Standalone version that were not shipped with the original.
This may take some considerable time depending on the specification of the PC in use; Be patient!
Once the three tables have been generated, then the following screen appears.
Select OK to complete installation of the ODBC driver for OneWorld Standalone and continue onto the Software Licensing & Activation part of the setup.
Note: The Standalone table generation is also available from the Standalone Control Panel.
Once the installation and licensing is complete, review your DSN configurations.
