ODBC Fat Client Installation - Pre Service Pack 22.
To start the download follow the Start Download & Installation - Common section of this manual.
After you have chosen the destination location and selected Next the following Unity Configuration screen appears.
Note: For this installation you will need your:

| • | JDE User Password |
| • | Operating Environment |
Select Next to continue to enter User Login Security details.
Enter valid JDE Login Details:
JDE User ID
JDE User Password
Environment
and select Next to continue.
The installation program checks the input details and if found in the security table F98OWSEC completes the installation and returns the finished application install screen.
Select Finish to display the Licensing and Activation set of screens.
Go to Software Licensing & Activation - Common to complete your installation of the ODBC driver for OneWorld Single User, Fat Client, Pre Service Pack 22 application.
NOTE
During entry of JDE Login details for JDE User, JDE User Password and Environment the system checks the F98OWSEC table and if there is an entry error the following JDE Database password Entry dialog box is displayed for re-input of details.
Enter User ID and password and select OK. If all User details check (are confirmed in the Security table) then the installation will continue as described.
If a problem continues and the installation cannot reconcile the User and DB details from the security table then jdeDirect displays the same database and user security input requirements as if the installation was Post Service Pack 22. Go to Fat Client, Post Service Pack 22 for details.
Following the installations instructions, please review your DSN configurations.
