erpDirect Software Licensing
erpDirect ODBC drivers are key protected based on your computer name and iSeries serial number and are restricted for use under license (see license restrictions) and as such require activating via our server before using. Use this control panel program to activate or re-license the software.
The software licensing application can activate the driver using either a manual code that you may have received from our helpdesk or automatically pick up a code from our servers using a License Key that was issued to you with your software package. The licensing application also displays useful information such as the current version of the driver installed, number of users licensed.
Note: The Expiration Date field literal has changed in Version 2.0.4.7 to Expires but the functionality is the same.
When requesting a code from our servers, you will be prompted to enter the License Key for your installation, this is available from Oracle and is part of the bundle you originally received or when you purchased additional licenses. Enter the License Key and follow the on screen instructions to receive the activation code for your installations.
If you have received a manual activation code via email from our helpdesk, cut and paste the code in here and click VALIDATE to activate the software.
