Memory Management

The jdeDirect ODBC Driver uses the local hard disk to cache certain functions that it cannot push down to the database, on occasions this cache can become full due to large complex tables and queries.  Should this occur, you will see the following error message:

                            JdeDirect_ODBC_disk_cache_error

When the driver is installed, the cache size is pre-configured to a maximum of 150 meg. You can easily modify the cache size to be increased to a size that you feel will accommodate your use of the driver.

Open the ODBC Driver Controls - OneWorld & E1 or - WORLD program (as required) installed in the jdeDirect Control Panel, and change the value of the Local Disk Cache Size and then click the Update button to apply your changes.
