jdeDirect ODBC Driver for OneWorld - Installation Guide

This section of the document describes the required steps to install and configure the jdeDirect ODBC driver on your workstation both with and without a Fat Client installed on your PC.  It is highly recommended that if you are evaluating the driver for the first time, you take the 'Typical' (recommended) installation option.  This will use the Java Interoperability functionality of the driver as the default installation route.

If this is the first time you are installing jdeDirect ODBC for use within your organisation there will be additional configuration steps that you or your database administrator will need to complete after you have executed the installation program.

Please read the whole user guide prior to starting any installation activity, in particular the Introduction so that you have a clear understanding how you wish the driver to be installed.
