ODBC Thin Client Single User Installation, Client Machine, Fat Client IS Installed (PRE Service Pack 22)
You have started the installation of the jdeDirect One World ODBC driver and having completed the common download functionality, the following Welcome to the Configure E1 Connection Tool is displayed.
Three options are available to you.
The installation route depends on your PC setup. In this example the driver is being installed on a PC with a Fat Client installed and PRE Service Pack 22.
Leave the default as Typical: This is the Recommended route.
Typical Installation
The JDE Login Details are required:
Enter your JDE User ID, JDE User Password and Environment details.
If entered correctly the E1 Connection completed successfully screen is displayed and the driver installation is complete.
After successful implementation of the driver you will be asked to complete License details.
Finally if the Unity Universal Table Browser (UTB) is not installed, you will be asked if you wish to install now?
