Crystal Reports Server - Administration Course

Administering Users and Content   Administering Servers
TWO DAY COURSE   TWO DAY COURSE
Objectives - This 2-day instructor-led classroom course introduces system administrators to Crystal Reports Server, specifically Crystal Reports Server users, groups, and objects. It explains how to perform the tasks involved in supporting Crystal Reports Server users and groups so they can access the corporate data they need through Crystal Reports Server web portal. This corporate data can take the form of Crystal Report or Crystal Analysis files, program objects, object packages, and popular 3rd party objects such as Microsoft Word and Excel files, among others. These tasks are explained through instructor demonstration and hands-on activities. This course does not discuss maintaining Crystal Reports Servers, which is taught in the Crystal Reports Server Administering Servers course.   Objectives - The overall goal of the two-day instructor-led classroom Crystal Reports Server Administering Servers course is to give learners the skills and knowledge necessary to configure and manage the servers in a Crystal Reports Server deployment.
Who Should Attend - This course is designed for system administrators who are new to Crystal Reports Server and will be responsible for maintaining Crystal Reports Server users, groups, ad objects in their organization.   Who Should Attend - The target audience for this course is Crystal Reports Server Administrators, IT Managers, and users who are responsible for configuring and managing Crystal Reports Servers.
Pre-requisites - To be successful, learners who attend the Crystal Reports Server Administering users and content must have a working knowledge of NT Enterprise security concepts (global and local groups, and directory structure) and Crystal Reports and core report design concepts.   Pre-requisites - To be successful, learners who attend the course must have a working knowledge of: Crystal Reports and core report design concepts and NT Enterprise security concepts (global and local groups, and directory structure) and the following aspects of Crystal Reports Server: Account management; Crystal Reports Server content management; Crystal Reports Server security concepts; Crystal Reports Server web desktop.
