Security

erpDirect is designed to automatically apply ALL World Security once installed.  All data requests will be filtered using the security module defined in World for the User profile used when connecting.

Branch Plant Security as defined in F0001

Search Type Security as defined in F0004 & F0005 UDC 94

Dream Writer Security as defined in F9401

Numerical Scaling

erpDirect ODBC is configured to always extract and present numerical data with the appropriate decimalisation.

The erpDirect ODBC installation automatically creates two alternative erpDirect ODBC data source options.

Follow this path to review the erpDirect ODBC data source options that are available on your machine.

Start | Settings | Control Panel | Administrative tools | Data Sources (ODBC)

You will then be presented with the ODBC Data Source Administrator dialog box. Click on the System DSN tab to review the data source options that are available to

you.

Crystal_World        Displays short table names, long tables names, short column names and long column names.

UTB_World        Displays short table names, long tables names, short column names and long column names.

Double click on any of the erpDirect ODBC data sources to activate the erpDirect ODBC Driver dialog associated with that option. Or Click ADD to add another erpDirect data source's.
