DSN Standard Configuration

jdeDirect ODBC is designed to automatically present all date fields according to the short date format currently configured for the individual PC. Date formats are specified within your Regional Options function in the Control Panel.

jdeDirect ODBC will always apply language preferences pre-defined within JD Edwards to externally extracted data. The language override parameters are based upon individual users display preferences specified within the User Display Preferences (F00921) table.

jdeDirect ODBC is configured to always extract and present numerical data with the appropriate decimalisation.

The jdeDirect ODBC installation automatically creates seven alternative jdeDirect ODBC data source options plus one UTB option.

Follow this path to review the jdeDirect ODBC data source options that are available on your machine.

You will then be presented with the ODBC Data Source Administrator dialog box. Click on the System DSN tab to review the data source options that are available to

jdeDirect_LTN_LCN	Displays long table names and long column names
jdeDirect_LTN_SCN	Displays long table names and short column names
jdeDirect_LTN_STN_LCN_SCN	Displays long table names, short table names, long column names, short column names
jdeDirect_STN_LCN	Displays short table names and long column names

Double click on any of the jdeDirect ODBC data sources to activate the Unity Enterprise Solutions jdeDirect ODBC Driver dialog associated with that option. Or Click ADD to add another jdeDirect data source.
